Message: The Sum of Our Parts
So then last week we got a primer on the concepts of salvation and, specifically, communal salvation. Still, though, we are individuals in this world and so, certainly, our individuality is valuable to the greater good. This Sunday we will focus on how essential each of us is to the Greater Good. In order to have a Kingdom of Heaven we need healthy parts! I hope you will join us as I consider this both from the story of our scripture AND a wonderful book I’ve been reading by The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, “Fierce Love, A Bold Path of Ferocious Courage and Rule-Breaking Kindness That Can Heal the World.”

Sunday, October 4, 2026 – PUMPKINS ARRIVE AFTER CHURCH! Mark your calendars because we can use all the help we can get unloading the truck. And don’t worry if you think you can’t lift or carry pumpkins. We always need folks to (hu)man the snack table in remind everyone to stay hydrated!
Sunday, October 18, 2026 – UPA membership information forum. Please join us after coffee for 1½ hours of getting to know each other, our church history, mission, and purpose. You’re invited if you are thinking about joining the church, curious about the UPA and what we believe, or just want to be a part of the conversation!
Sunday, October 25, 2026 – PUMPKINFEST! After church fair for the entire Auburndale/Newton community including pumpkin painting, family pictures, face painting, and a petting zoo!
