Blessings and grace to you all!
We are now in our 5th week of Lent and last week before the beginning of Holy Week on Palm/Passion Sunday, March 24th. We began this time of reflection and confession with a commitment to plant the seeds of joy anticipating their springing forth from this fertile ground even as the days grow longer and our world turns from winter to spring. And, in hope for a diverse garden we have considered many different forms of Joy: persistent, expectant, and transformative to name a few.
This Sunday Anine will be preaching on Vocational Joy. We often assume vocation to be our job – what we do for work/a paycheck. But what if vocation is also what we are called to do and be by God. This could include or even be what we do for a living but it could also be something more. What is your vocation and where is the joy in serving God through it?
