Scriptures: Luke 6:17-26
Message: Blessed Are You
This Sunday is Blessing Sunday – and not a minute too soon! As we mentioned last Sunday, it’s too easy to fall into the space of scarcity and miss the divine blessings that are all around us. Even – especially! – when we are overwhelmed with fear and struggle, God does not cease to bless us in great abundance. For the past 3 weeks we’ve been collecting food for the Newton food pantry in an effort to bless the pantry and those who use it with these gifts. This Sunday we will gather what we’ve collected and bless it by our prayers and hope before we send it to be delivered by our youth next week.
What are some other ways you bless those around you? What are ways you receive the blessings of others? All of this and more this Sunday – which is an intergenerational worship so bring the kids!
See you Sunday!
Peace,
Cheryl
