Message: Seeing As Blessing
There is SO MUCH happening in our worship this coming Sunday! Several reasons to insure you can be with us. First, WE HAVE A BAPTISM! Every clergy I’ve ever met says that THIS is the best part of our job to which I agree. What a joy to celebrate God’s love for all of us by our very creation with our tinies friends! And this Sunday is especially special to my family because baby Silvia Flor is my husband’s cousin!
Second, our wonderful Rock Band will be offering a piece for worship this Sunday!I know they’ve been working hard on this one through this past winter and I look forward to receiving this gift through worship.
And finally, we will have another Scripture Skit this Sunday, this time, the story of the Canaanite Woman. Some new members of the UPA Players will make their debut after which we’ll have the opportunity to consider another couple of Brian McLaren’s 13 Biases which keep us from truly seeing one another, our experiences and gifts.
Additionally, Membership Board and I are so excited to offer a UPA info session after church on May 7th for those who are considering membership or even those who are just curious about what we do, who we are, and why. As it’s been several years since we’ve brought in new members, I am aware that some of our regular church goers have not yet joined. Please let me know who you are and consider yourselves invited to our session!
