Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, Auburndale neighbor, UPA Member, and Friend Nick Humber was on the first plane from Boston to crash into the New York Trade Center tower. On the first anniversary of his passing, Nick’s Family and Friends presented a memorial tree and bench that the church accepted “As a sacred trust and will care for them and maintain them reverently in loving memory of Nick Humber.” Nick was an environmental expert specializing in wind energy projects and active in many aspects of our church life.
