Dear UPA families and friends,
Peace to you! I grieve with all of you the health news that Cheryl shared with us about her son Gabe. Gabe is one of our beloved, enthusiastic Youth Group leaders! I know Cheryl is grateful that this beautiful congregation has already offered her, Gabe, and her family an outpouring of support and prayers, so they can have space and rest needed for what will be a challenging time for Gabe and the entire family during treatments and recovery. Thank you for living your commitment to generosity and hospitality as a spiritual practice for your beloved Pastor!
Over the next three weeks, Linda Wood-Boyle, Soo Laski, and myself will be helping to fill in for worship leadership and pastoral care. Please call the church office for any pastoral needs while Cheryl is away.
