This faith formation thing we do every Sunday, including worshiping and connecting with the Divine, is not something that always comes easily or naturally. Sometimes circumstances can be such that there are no words (which make up the bulk of our worship through liturgies, scriptures, and especially the EXCEPTIONALLY long pastor’s reflection!) for what we are called to do as a church community. Sometimes we are called to look to another “language” or sense to know God.
This Sunday will be dedicated to doing exactly this! We will welcome guest worship leader and preacher, Matt Meyers, who will invite the Divine Spirit into our hearts not so much through words as through harmonies, rhythm, and song. If you were here the last time we handed over our worship to Matt then you can attest to the miracle of communion that he brings by his leadership.
