Scripture: I kings 2:10-12. 3:3-14
Message: The Wisdom of Solomon.
This weeks scripture from the Old Testament is the story of the end of King David’s life and the beginning of Solomons tenure. One of the key themes of this reading is about Solomon’s initial requests to God as he was about to take over. Instead of asking for riches or long life, he asked for discernment or wisdom; to be able to know between right and wrong in every circumstance. This is one of God‘s gifts that I think we may forget about: the gift of Gods help in choosing the right path. Please join us as we explore this idea Sunday.
