Scripture: 1 John 3:16-24
Message: Grace
This Sunday Anine will be preaching as Cheryl will be traveling to Avila and Seville, Spain. Anine will explore the concept of grace and what it could mean. “Love with our actions and in truth,” the author of 1 John wrote. How do we love in our actions? Might it have something to do with grace?
Right now grace seems to be happening outside, in flowers flowering and blossoms blossoming. Nature is showing grace and trying again, in a persistent manifestation of God on earth, to bring forth new life. What grace there is in a bright yellow daffodil! What grace in the deep purple of a hyacinth! There is also grace in hoppy bunnies, although they do eat our flowers… Grace is not always as simple as it seems. Do we show grace to cute bunnies or to our flowerbeds, or can we do both?
Enjoy spring, have a wonderful week, and I hope to see you on Sunday!
Warmly,
Anine
